Applications are being invited from eligible candidates for recruitment to 9 posts of Pharmacist in health institutions on contract/outsourcing basis under the Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department. In this post we are going to explain the complete process step by step.

Applications have been invited for recruitment to 9 posts of Pharmacist under the Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department.
Andhra Pradesh Pharmacist Vacancy 2024: Eligibility Criteria for Application:

Educational Qualification

Must have passed Intermediate or its equivalent examination recognized by the Government.
Passed in D.Pharma/B.Pharma (or)
Must be from a Pharmacy recognized by the Government with Apprenticeship/Clinical training.
P. Must be registered with the Pharmacy Council.
If the candidate has both D.Pharma and B.Pharma, he will be considered on the basis of maximum percentage obtained in any of the above.

Age Range:

The maximum age limit for this post is 42 years.
Age will be calculated as on 01.07.2023 with applicable relaxations as per G.O.Ms.No.105 GA (Ser-A) Department, dated 27.09.2021.

Age relaxation will be as follows:-

For SC, ST, BC and EWS candidates: 05 (Five) years.
For Ex-Servicemen Male: 03 (three) years in addition to the period of service in the Armed Forces.
For Persons with Disabilities: 10 (ten) years. D. The maximum age limit including all relaxations is 52 years.

Pay Scale:

The minimum pay scale for recruitment to 9 posts for pharmacists under the Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department has been fixed at Rs.32,670/-.

Selection process for recruitment:

75% will be allotted to the total marks obtained in all the years in the qualifying examination or any other equivalent qualification. The candidate should be a registered pharmacist from Andhra Pradesh Pharmacy Council.
