DPEE: Complete Guide to Pharmacy Exit Exam Success 2024

Introduction:

• The Extraordinary Gazette was published by PCI on February 24, 2022. According to this Gazette of India, diploma in pharmacy students will have to pass the exit test in order to register as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council and get a retail drug licence after completion from the D.Pharmacy course from the session 2022-2023.

Explain the eligibility criteria for taking the DPEE:

• For Diploma in Pharmacy Exit Exam Students Complete the D.Pharma in 2022-2023.
• The candidate shall be required to make an application in a prescribed form with all relevant documents showing the proof of his passing the approved examination and the examination fee as may be prescribed by the PCI.
• A holder of a D Pharmacy from a PCI-approved institution who has completed the necessary practical training..

Syllabus Of Diploma In Pharmacy Exit Exam:

• There are 7 subjects of D.pharmacy in the syllabus excluding HAP (Human anatomy & Physiology)
• Human anatomy & Physiology subject was not included in the syllabus of Pharmacy EXIT Exam.

List of Subject are:

1. Pharmaceutics,
2. Pharmacology.
3. Pharmacognosy,
4. Pharmaceutical chemistry.
5. Biochemistry, Hospital & Clinical Pharmacy,
6. Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence
7. Drug Store Management.

• The language of the examination shall be English.
• The test for each paper shall be of 3 hrs. duration.
• The test shall consist of online MCQs with or without a negative marking system.

Criteria for Qualifying Pharmacy Exit Exam (DPEE)

• If a candidate obtained a minimum of 50% in each paper separately will he/she be considered to have passed the exit exam.
• A candidate must pass all three papers in the same attempt.
• There shall be no restriction on the number of attempts to appear in the exit exam.
